New Delhi: Rohit Tandon, founder and managing partner of T&T law firm, was again questioned by I-T officials on Monday. A team of I-T officials reached the main office of T&T law firm located in R-block of GK-I at 10 am. They entered the premises of the building with two trucks to collect the huge amount of unaccounted cash recovered from the first floor of the office.

On Saturday, the Delhi police recovered Rs 13.65 crore in cash, including Rs 2.60 crore in new currency notes from its raid on Tandon’s firm located in South Delhi. House number R89 in GK-I is a white building with no signage and no one living there. The “white house” building is a known landmark in the locality. The security guards of the building said that they were clueless about the huge cash inside the building. The building is guarded by two unarmed private security guards. The entire office premise was intact with high-tech security devices. “The boundary wall of the house is covered with barb wire and each floor of the building is covered with live CCTV streaming facility,” said a security guard of the building. Mr Tandon (50) is a native of Jalandhar and comes from a family of lawyers. His father, who passed away last year, was a judge in Punjab and Haryana high court.

In 2005, Mr Tandon started a law firm called ZEUS with his brother-in-law Sunil Tyagi and his friend.
