Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chief Bilawal Bhutto said on Tuesday that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had bloods of Muslims on his hands and PM Nawaz Sharif was still trying to befriend him.

Addressing a rally in Bagh district of Pakistan-administrated Kashmir, he said even the Indian analysts were baffled when Mr Modi assumed control over the country. The PPP chief said his party will make efforts for the independence of Kashmir, further adding that “by the grace of God, these (the upcoming) elections in Kashmir (PoK) will be historic ones”.

Mr Bhutto said several countries considered Mr Modi as a terrorist and that the PPP had always raised its voice to safeguard the rights of the Kashmiris.

He also criticised the current rulers of Pakistan, saying that they had made the Kashmir freedom fight a joke and demanded that the people of Kashmir be given the right of self-determination. He said, “The PM cut his birthday cake with Mr Modi, why couldn’t he recall that oppression in Kashmir was at its peak during his (Mr Modi’s) tenure ”

Referring to the Panama Leaks, he said that his party demands transparent investigation of the matter.

Bilawal Bhutto advised Mr Sharif to relinquish his post, adding the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) government was facing big trouble.

The PPP chief said PM Sharif had tarnished the country’s foreign policy. “India considers us as its enemy whereas Afghanistan and Iran are also against Pakistan,” he added.
