Agra has been spruced up for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s visit to Taj Mahal. The royal duo’s visit will inevitably take one to the withered memories of past when Princess Diana visited the much talked monument 24 years ago.
The streets of the normally chaotic city were freshly swept on Saturday morning in anticipation of the British royals, who arrived several hours later.
The visit by William and his wife will be filled with nostalgia. Comparisons will inevitably be drawn to Diana's 1992 photograph as she sat alone on a marble bench in front of the white marble mausoleum.
