Bhopal

: A new video, the 3rd so far, has emerged on the ‘encounter’ of SIMI terror accused by the Special Task Force (STF) of the Madhya Pradesh police on Monday.

In the video, two of the undertrials are shown being shot repeatedly.

In the 46th second of the video, someone among the police is heard shouting the undertrial is alive. At this, a personnel of the STF fires a bullet.

Soon after, someone demands to know whether a video is being shot of the incident.

Immediately someone says, "bhai yeh video bandh karwayo (Stop this video shooting)".

A little while later, another injured undertrial in a blue shirt moves his hand.

Two people are heard reacting to this. One says, "Goli mat chalayo (Don't fire)", but the other says, "Maar do, maar do (Kill him, kill him)". Another officer responds by killing the second man as well.

The encounter has raised questions especially after the first two videos were leaked, showing police firing over fallen individuals. The Congress and other Opposition parties have demanded a probe into the incident, which the BJP has rejected. However, the Madhya Pradesh Police chief has said that a CID investigation will be held.

Post-mortem reports of the deceased suggest that shots were fired at them from several directions, and multiple times at each accused. Their clothes have now been sent for forensic investigation to determine the distance from which the shots were fired.
