Last seen in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Everest, Sahil Salathia is back on the tube as the good-looking Pakistani antagonist, Yussuf Wali Muazzam, in POW — Bandi Yuddh Ke.  Since the actor is playing a terrorist from across the border, his look has been carefully designed to suit the character. “I had to look convincing as a Pathan, so I have grown a beard and am sporting green lenses in the show. Luckily, I have a fair complexion, so it wasn’t really that difficult to pass off as one” says Sahil with a smile.

So, what prolonged his hiatus, we ask.  “I want to do quality work and not just for the sake of it. I started with Ashutosh Gowariker, whom I have immense respect for, and likewise, now Nikkhil Advani, who’s an acclaimed filmmaker himself, and can be trusted for the character,” shares Sahil.  “For me, taking up this project was one of the easiest decisions of my life. I was waiting for the right kind of role and character to come back with and who better than Nikkhil? The storyline and my character will keep you completely hooked,” adds the actor, confidently.
