Ankur Nayyar, who will replace Rajesh Shringarpure in Meri Durga, is confident that audiences will accept him as coach Rana in the show. Admitting that Rajesh’s portrayal has set a benchmark of sorts, Ankur said, “It was nice to see how Rajeshji has portrayed coach Rana in the show. The audience has loved how he has essayed the role. I hope the audiences too accept me in the role. I am going to do everything I can to ensure that audiences like me as well.”

By taking up the show, the actor will be juggling Meri Durga and the period drama Akbar at the same time. But the actor isn’t perturbed by the busy schedule. He says, “I am lucky that I am working on both the shows. I don’t think it will be difficult to adjust dates. When I first heard about my character, I knew I had to do it. In fact, there wasn’t any reason for me to not take this up.”
