Will Kriti be Salman Khan’s juliet

Salman Khan’s next project, the remake of the Punjabi superhit Jatt and Juliet, will be launching his friend’s son Zaheer as the lead. Now, there are reports that Bhai is considering roping in Kriti Sanon as his Juliet in the film.

The original film, starring Diljit Dosanjh, Neeru Bajwa, Rana Ranbir, released in 2012 and turned out to be a blockbuster. Music director Himesh Reshammiya acquired the rights of that film and then, apparently, narrated the story to Salman. That’s when the latter decided to make the film in Hindi.

A source said, “Salman heard the script and was sure that he wanted to make the film. And he is considering Kriti but nothing has been finalised till now.”
