Riteish Deshmukh had made a conscious decision to stay away from sex comedies, but made an exception for his friend Milap Zaveri and agreed to make a special appearance in his upcoming film Mastizaade. We hear that Riteish had been assured that his appearance would be the surprise package of the film, and would be kept under wraps until it was released. In fact, he didn’t even charge a fee for his act.

However, sources report that the actor was shocked to see that the trailer of the film included his footage — and also his voice. Having realised that Riteish was not pleased with these developments, the makers of the film have been trying to reach out to him for a meeting. But their attempts to pacify Riteish have come to naught.

“Riteish is very upset with the makers after the trailer came out; he was told that he will be the surprise element in the film and he was not aware that he would be a part of the trailer as well,” our source said.

Riteish later tweeted: “I am part of 2 scenes and a song in Mastizaade, nothing more. I am requesting the makers again — please honour our agreement.” “It’s shocking to see them blatantly use me in their promotions,” Riteish added.
