Makers to discuss final draft of Race 3 with Saif Ali Khan

The Race film franchise is one of the most successful franchises in Bollywood. Both Race and Race 2 raked in good numbers at the box office and their music topped the charts as well. Now the buzz is that TIPS, who are the producers of the franchise, have come up with a new idea, which they want to take forward in Race 3.

According to insiders, the scripting process has already begun. A source says, “Race 3 is in the scripting stage now and the team is working on a few ideas. Action, romance and thrills are integral to the franchise, so obviously they won’t be drifting away from that. But they want to surprise the audience with some great content. So they want to give the script as much time it requires, to get it spot on.”

Meanwhile director duo Abbas-Mastan who made the first two films are lying low. As for the star cast, Saif has been the central character in all the films and the makers are keen to have him on board again. A senior member from TIPS told us, “The idea has been shared with Saif and we will sit with him when the final draft is ready.”
