Kajol trips, marks good luck for Dilwale

Ever since Kajol tripped on the sets of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and the film went on to become a hit, it is a belief among the film crews that the accident is a happy one and spells good luck for the film. Shah Rukh Khan, her co-star in Dilwale, elaborated on the incident on Comedy Nights with Kapil. “Kajol and I were cycling for a particular shot in KKHH and Kajol fell down. The same happened during Dilwale. After falling, for an hour-and-a-half, she couldn’t recognise anyone. Then we called up Ajay Devgn and she immediately recognised his voice. She spoke to him for quite a long time and then she was fine.”

Ganging up with SRK, Kapil asked Kajol if her exact words of distress were “Shona main gir gayi”. To which the actress responded, “Ajay doesn’t look like a ‘shona’ to me. He has a Singham type of personality.”
