Does Salman Khan make a better ex-boyfriend than boyfriend

Even a cursory glance at superstar Salman Khan’s love life will reveal a very peculiar detail — that he makes a better ‘ex’ than a ‘current’ boyfriend. While many, if not all of his relationships have not had an ideal ending, Salman is far more caring about his ex-girlfriends than he is when he’s in a relationship.

And even now, with a big release on the cards, Salman is looking out very seriously for the welfare of two of his ex-es — Sangeeta Bijlani and Katrina Kaif. Sangeeta has over the years remained a part of Salman’s extended family, even after her marriage and separation from Mohammad Azharuddin.

And now Katrina too seem to have joined this extended family, with Salman doing everything to take care of her after her alleged breakup with Ranbir Kapoor.

Katrina, on her part, has always been very close to Salman’s sisters, though not to his parents. In fact, Sangeeta Bijlani, Somy Ali and Katrina have all continued to be close to Salman’s family even after their relationships had ended.

Katrina has always admitted to the fact that she looks up to Salman for advice at every turn — whether they were in a relationship or not. And not surprisingly, over the years Salman has become more and more caring about her after their relationship ended.

Says one of Salman’s buddies, “He is helping Katrina rebuild her life and career. With regards to her relationship with Ranbir, Salman had asked her to be wary. She didn’t listen. Salman is not one to say, ‘I-told-you-so’. Instead, he is trying to re-establish Katrina’s career by recommending her to his producer friends.”

The friend adds, “It’s not just Sangeeta and Katrina, Salman has been very good to all his exes, including Somy Ali. Barring just one ex, they will all tell you how considerate, generous and thoughtful Salman has been as a former lover. In fact, so protective he is of them that he turns hostile towards men who break their heart. Azharuddin and Ranbir are now surely not on Salman’s speed-dial.”
