Rekha drops by to congratulate Roshans

Overwhelmed by the experience of viewing Kaabil, the reclusive Rekha, rarely seen outside film award functions, dropped by at the Roshans’ residence to express her admiration for the film.

She apparently told the Roshans that this was by far the most accomplished performance by Hrithik in his entire career and that the actor reminded her of Amitji in Yash  Chopra’s iconic film Kabhi Kabhie.

An overwhelmed Hrithik said, “Rekhaji  was overwhelmed. It’s too early to say anything about my performance, but the last time I felt this way was probably for Koi Mil Gaya where she played my mother. From the time of Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai she has been very generous in her support and praise.”
