Kirti Kulhari puts on weight for Indu Sarkar

Kirti Kulhari, of Pink fame, has reportedly put on some weight for Madhur Bhandarkar’s Indu Sarkar.

“Kirti is very fit and was asked to put a little weight on, to look her part in the film,” reveals a source. “During the shoot, she enjoyed eating with no restrictions, but she still kept away from unhealthy snacking. Since she plays the role of a girl who stammers, Kirti even hired a coach for voice modulation, who helped the actress rehearse during the preparations for Indu Sarkar.”

Kirti will be seen essaying the role of a poet, who suffers from a speech impediment, in the movie. Indu Sarkar is reportedly based in the Emergency era, from 1975 to 1977, when Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister.
