The actress, who has been shooting for Haseena, has been very hands-on in the creative decisions in the film.
Shraddha Kapoor, who is acting with Siddhanth Kapoor for the first time in Apoorva Lakhia’s Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai, has been taking an active interest in the creative aspects of the film. She has even contradicted director Apoorva about a courtroom shot.
A close source reveals, “While a shooting a crucial court scene in the movie, Shraddha wasn’t happy with the way it had turned out, hence the actress went ahead and demanded Apoorva to re-shoot it. However, director requested her to stick to the original shot.”
Touted to be one of Shraddha’s most challenging movies so far, Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai, on Haseena Parkar and Dawood Ibrahim’s lives, is all set to be released on July 14. The film will also be shown to the Parkar family, in a special screening, since the movie will chronicle Haseena’s life from the age of 17 to 40.
