Many artistes in the industry are fitness freaks, and workout everyday, despite crazy schedules and sweat it out in order to look and feel fit. However, Ghulam actress Niti has a different perception altogether when it comes to her regime.
She doesn’t believe in weight training or cardio, and does what she does best — zumba. Niti has taken dance lessons for many years and has now taken up zumba to achieve her fitness goals, as she loves the art form. And the actress says that the dance form has not just helped her be free, but has also given her confidence level a boost.
“Zumba for me is a fun way to workout. I love dancing, so it’s totally for me. I prefer doing zumba than working out in the gym. I look forward to class every day and make sure to take an hour out for my training daily. It helps me be fit and active. I believe zumba is the best medium for workout for youngsters to shed their calories, as it involves music and dance,” she says.
