Peaceful borders

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to start talks with Pakistan is praiseworthy. There is an urgent need to ensure the security and well-being of border populations. Whenever there is a ceasefire violation, it is the civilian border population that suffers most. These talks give them a chance to lead normal lives.
