Kudos to SC

I support the Supreme Court upholding of Haryana’s decision to bar illiterate panchayat candidates as it will change the political scenario, which has been dominated by elders and heads of clans. It is also a big boost for the Centre’s sanitation drive as candidates who do not have toilets at their homes won’t be able to contest.
