Ban jokes on Sikhs

The Supreme Court’s concern about how to ban jokes about Sikhs is the concern of all right-minded Indians too. As a first step, the Registrar of Newspapers should cancel the registration of publications which carry such jokes. But it is useless to ask schools and colleges to fall in line as that will backfire and result in more jokes. The ban should be applicable to all other communities against whom jokes are made.
