No chocolate boy roles for Vivaan Shah, please

Vivaan has made his debut in 7 Khoon Maaf, and was seen in Bombay Velvet too.

Vivaan Shah sure knows how to play his cards well. Currently promoting his upcoming movie Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laddoo Deewana, Vivaan has been picking his roles very wisely. If the actor is to be believed, he wishes to stay away from doing typical chocolate boy roles.

“The reason I’ve not been doing much work is because I was getting the same kind of roles,” he explains. “I’m also happy that Happy New Year resulted in tremendous amount of work for me. A lot of offers that then came my way were chocolate boy kind of ones, which I wanted to avoid.”

Vivaan has made his debut in 7 Khoon Maaf, and was seen in Bombay Velvet too. “Most of the roles that were offered were teeny-bopper, rom-com roles,” he says. “That does happen in the acting profession. Everybody experiences typecasting, but one has to prove that they’re capable of doing different kind of roles.” he adds.
