: My wife Vahhbiz and I will decorate our Christmas tree like we do every year. Visiting Mount Mary church in Bandra on Christmas Eve, post-midnight mass has been part of the tradition too.
Terence Lewis: When we were children, we didn’t have money to splurge on sweets during Christmas but just being together and celebrating the spirit of the festival is important. My family is scattered around the world now but we try to come together during Christmas and celebrate.
Jigyasa Singh aka Thapki (she has converted to Christianity): Christmas is the best time of the year. The festivities, the energy and everything just adds to the celebrations. I am glad this year I will be celebrating Christmas with my family and like always, we will be going to church in the night and then come home and bake goodies together.
Niti Taylor: When I was a little girl my mum would put the nativity scene out but the Baby Jesus would not arrive until Christmas Eve. We have Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve because we don’t want mummy being stuck in the kitchen all day, missing out on all the Christmas fun. The Christmas day can be spent relaxing and eating all the leftovers and yummy chocolates. This has been our family tradition since I was little.
Elli Avram: This year I will celebrate Christmas here with my close friends and we’ll gorge on the usual Christmas delicacies. Back home in Sweden, we usually cook many Christmas specialities and have a big lunch together. After that, we all sit together and watch TV because there is always a special show that airs at the same time every year — they show the same thing every year. After that, we unwrap our Christmas presents.
