Mohib Mirza is a far cry from Shayaan

The hunky Pakistani actor Mohib Mirza, who is currently seen playing the character of Shayaan in Kash Aisa Ho, has already won over Indian viewers. The talented actor is married to an equally skilled performer, Aamina Sheikh. Unlike his on screen character Shayaan, who does not appreciate his wife Irfa, Mohib is quite the doting husband in real life. Not only is the actor very proud of his wife’s achievements but he is also highly appreciative of her body of work and leaves no opportunity to encourage her.

“Mohib is my strength,” says Aamina. “He is a great blessing. The fact that we both do the same work helps us manage and understand each other’s schedules. It’s important to have a caring partner, otherwise balancing career and home becomes difficult. If today I am climbing the ladder of success effortlessly, its because of Mohib. He is not just a cool partner, he is a great human being too.”

Point that out to Mohib and he blushes. “Our work hours are erratic, so if I reach home early I don’t mind waiting a little longer to spend quality time with her. When the wait is longer, I read a book or surf channels — so waiting is also fun that way and it doesn’t make me restless. I am nothing like my onscreen character who snubs his wife. For me, her happiness matters more than my own,” says Mohib.
