They starred opposite each other in the movie Kucch Toh Hai way back in 2003. Ever since, actors Tusshar Kapoor and Anita Hassanandani never got a chance to share screen space. After twelve long years, the old co-stars were brought together on the small screen, by Comedy Nights Bachao.
Talking about the camaraderie, an elated Anita says, “It was indeed lovely having him on the show. Although we are friends, we rarely get time to catch up. So it was super fun to shoot with him. Besides, it was a special moment for both of us as we were sharing screen space after twelve long years. We decided to make the most of it.”
Speaking about the same, Tusshar says, “Anita and I go a long way. Working with her after so many years brought back all the old memories. The whole experience was awesome.”
Given the equation that the actors share, one would expect Anita to go a bit easy on Tusshar while taking a dig at him, but that was surprisingly not the case. In fact, his sister Ekta too was dragged into it unwittingly. “Yes Tusshar tried his best to convince me to spare him but I refused to budge. I did not want to go against the tradition of the show. Any guest who comes here must go through the ordeal. Only then is the drill complete,-" smiles Anita.
The actors danced on the popular number Ding Dong from Kucch Toh Hai.
