Drashti stalked in Austria, Arjun comes to the rescue

Drashti Dhami had an unfortunate experience while she was shooting in Austria for her upcoming show, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, with leading man Arjun Bijlani and other key cast members. The news of the actors landing in Austria went viral, as they were regularly posting pictures on social networking websites, thereby revealing their whereabouts.

Unfortunately, a fan stalked Drashti in Austria. He tailed her to her shoot location, and all the way to her hotel in Vienna. Soon, Drashti realised she was being clicked by the fan, but decided to ignore it. Things took a turn for the worse when the fan sat right across a table while she dined with Arjun in a restaurant, and started clicking photos of her.

This time, the actress informed her co-star about the problem, after which Arjun confronted the stalker about his conduct. The stalker eventually apologised for his behaviour.

When we contacted, Arjun said, “I’m glad that the fan understood he was invading Drashti’s privacy, and was apologetic about his behaviour. There was no point dragging the matter on after that.” Drashti added, “I like to interact with my fans, but being stalked was not a good experience at all. I’m glad Arjun could resolve the issue, and the team was so supportive all the time.”
