Divyanka Tripathy’s fans were in for a surprise when she posted a photo of her engagement ring on Instagram on Saturday. The actress exchanged rings with co-star Vivek Dahiya on Friday evening. The couple got engaged in a quiet ceremony with only the immediate family in attendance. Sources say that sparks flew the instant the two were introduced to each other by a common friend. The bond strengthened further when the couple became co-stars on Ye Hai Mohabbatein. They kept the relationship fiercely guarded from the cast and crew of the show in an attempt to ward off unwanted attention. Divyanka says, “We did not want to jinx our relationship so we kept it under wraps. And secondly, we didn’t want to delay things as it had worked against us many times — so once we made up our minds we decided to get engaged.”
So, do we see wedding bells anytime soon “Well the wedding date will be fixed by our parents. Right now we are happy being engaged. Vivek is a great guy —he cares about me and always comes to my rescue whenever I am stressed and confused. I could have never found someone better. I was anyway not interested in courtship. So when I met Vivek, I had an inkling the relationship will culminate into marriage,” states Divyanka
Before dating Vivek, Divyanka was in a long-standing relationship with her Banoo Main Teri Dulhann co-star, Sharad Malhotra.
