New Realme C1 launched in India at attractive price

The 2019 Realme C1 comes in a 3GB/32GB configuration and features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC.

The budget smartphone segment in India is getting populated with some interesting handsets and the latest model to grace this category is the 2019 Realme C1 that comes in up to a 3GB/32GB configuration. Originally, the Realme C1 launched with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage. Now, the company has upgraded the handset with the 2019 Realme C1 coming in with 2GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. This brings the handset to India with three configurations — 2GB/16GB, 2GB/32GB and 3GB/32GB. The Realme C1 also comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, and a 4230mAh battery. This handset will go head-to-head with the Samsung Galaxy M10 that’s expected to be launched in the near future.

The Realme C1 has been priced at Rs 7,499 for the new 2GB/32GB variant while the higher-end 3GB/32GB version, is priced at Rs 8,499. The handsets will be available for purchase on Flipkart from February 5 at 12 pm. The Realme C1 will launch in two colour options — Deep Black and Ocean Blue.

The Realme C1 comes with an AI-powered dual camera that enhances the photo captured. It also comes with an AI selfie camera and facial unlock features. There is also a smart lock feature and the Realme C1 also comes with a power saving feature that’s called App-freezing Power Saver and Quick App freezing.

TheRealme C1 comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ display and for protection, its fitted with a Corning Gorilla Glass screen. Having a notched display, it has a 19:9 aspect ratio and an 88.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC and an Adreno 406 GPU. Apart from the in-built storage, it can also be expanded up to 256GB extra by way of a microSD card.

As far as optics go, the Realme C1 features a 13MP primary shooter and a 2MP secondary sensor. At the front, there is a 5MP sensor for capturing selfies. Lastly, to keep the Realme C1 juiced up, it features a 4230mAh battery.
