A leak from Weibo also hints at a bigger 3700mAh battery for the 6T.

OnePlus’ 6T has been confirmed to make its debut pretty soon. The company has already confirmed that the OnePlus 6T will get an in-display fingerprint sensor, similar to its cousins from Vivo. Several leaks have also confirmed an OPPO style ‘waterdrop’ notched display as well. Now, some 3D renders of the smartphone have leaked, leaving nothing to the imagination at all.

The renders confirm the details leaked previously — the OnePlus 6T has a similar footprint to the OP6, albeit with slight changes. Instead of a bigger notch, the new model will have a smaller ‘waterdrop’ style notch first seen on OPPO and Vivo smartphones recently. The smaller notch will make for a slightly bigger display than the 6T. There’s no trace of the in-display fingerprint sensor in the 3D renders though, but the lack of a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor makes it evident that the new technology will be there on the 6T. Additionally, the device appears to be a tad thicker than the OP6 and omits the 3.5mm headphone jack.

OnePlus 6T leaks

Another leak from Weibo also gave us an idea about the battery size. The OnePlus 6T could feature the largest battery ever fitted to a OnePlus device — a 3700mAh unit. A battery of this size will help users get additional stamina from the device. OnePlus’ Dash Charge is also expected to make an appearance, although it is speculated that OnePlus could borrow OPPO’s 50W VOOC Flash Charge that could give a 90-minute talk time within 5 minutes.

Do note that these aren’t from an official source, which is why you should take them with a pinch of salt. However, with the expected launch date drawing to a close (rumoured to be 17th October), the OnePlus 6T could hardly be any different from what we see here.
