Samsung has unveiled its latest J2 series phone — the Galaxy J2 2018 in the Indian market. The J2 retails at Rs 8,190 and comes in Gold, Black and Pink colour variants.

The phone features 5-inch QHD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. The device also has an advanced ‘Device Maintenance’ feature, which optimises device performance automatically. The phone comes with 16GB of internal storage and has a microSD card expansion up to 256GB. In terms of camera, the Galaxy J2 features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera sensor both equipped with LED flash. On the connectivity front, the phone supports Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11. The Galaxy J2 is powered by a 2600mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.

Additionally, The Galaxy J2 2018 comes preloaded with Samsung Mall – a service that lets users shop by clicking a picture of the desired product and automatically getting results for the item across popular e-commerce platforms. Samsung Mall is the latest ‘Make for India’ innovation that uses artificial intelligence to power a new way to shop online.
