While Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone; Apple is expected to take the wraps off its iPhone 8 smartphone.
Initially, Samsung was speculated to take the wraps off its heavily-speculated Galaxy Note 8 smartphone in the month of August — prior to Apple’s iPhone 8 September unveiling. However, a new rumour is taking the rounds suggesting that Samsung too, will be launching its 2017 flagship smartphone in September.
A report by VentureBeat quotes an individual close to the matters, as giving a brief on company’s future plans regarding its Note 8 device. Turns out, the rivals will be coming face-to-face with their respective flagship smartphones this year.
As far as the specifications of the Galaxy Note 8 is concerned, the device is expected to sport cutting-edge components with a dual rear camera setup, iconic S Pen stylus, 6GB of RAM and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC. The individual in question also suggested that the Galaxy Note 8 will be the most expensive smartphone offered by Samsung till date. Starting at a whooping $900 — the Note 8 seems to have surpassed even Apple’s pricings.
