OnePlus 6 Avengers edition to debut this month
The company has teased the new release of Marvel Avenger OnePlus 6 edition slated to launch on 27th this month.
After StarWars, OnePlus is teaming up with Marvel for its new flagship OnePlus 6. The company has just released an official announcement on its OnePlus India Twitter handle slating the launch of the new flagship on 27th this month. The tweet suggests that its new flagship might be an exclusive Marvel Avengers themed edition OnePlus 6.

‘OnePlus’ association with Marvel Studios is a manifestation of the enduring love and support they have garnered from its respective community over the years with a purpose to go beyond the ordinary and achieve groundbreaking innovations in mobile technology only to create the best user experiences,” OnePlus said in a statement obtained by Android Central, noting that the deal “marks a step towards strengthening our association with Disney India.”
In addition to this new Marvel collaboration, the company has been teasing that the OnePlus 6 will be featuring water-resistant support as well. Furthermore, the company‘s CEO has already released the camera samples of the OnePlus 6 on his social media. The photographs showcased daylight conditions of various subjects — from a flower to buildings and so on.
Most of the specifications are already out there – thanks to the leaks. The latest flagship is expected to feature Snapdragon’s 845 SoC along with dual camera setup (20MP+16MP). Last, but not the least, the company has already confirmed the most controversial iPhone X-like notch is here to stay. The CEO has already justified the necessity of the notch, stating that implementing the notch will maximise screen real estate, freeing up space at the top of the screen.
As per the tweet from the company, we can expect a Marvel Avengers themed OnePlus 6 variant. The company might also be releasing new colour variants along with the standard Midnight Black colour variant.
