The Redmi Note 7 was launched earlier this year and it went on sale almost immediately. However, since the demand could not meet the supply, at least in the initial stages, the device was sold through flash sales. Now, if you’re planning on purchasing the Redmi Note 7, then you can do so at your own convenience as it is now available on open sale in India.

Those interested in buying the Redmi Note 7 can get it through Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores across the country. The 3GB/32GB variant is available for Rs 9,999 while the 4GB/64GB version is priced at Rs 2,000 more at Rs 11,999. The handset comes in three colour options Saphire Blue, Ruby Red and Onyx Black.

The Redmi Note 7 is the budget-conscious variant in the Note 7 series with the top end Redmi Note 7 Pro doing extremely well in the country. The Redmi Note 7 comes loaded with the Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and rear making it an alluring option for those interested in buying a premium handset without a premium price tag.

The Redmi Note 7 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ display that supports a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and since it uses a Dot display, it comes with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The handset comes with MIUI 10 that’s based on Android 9.0 Pie. The Redmi Note 7 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC that’s paired with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage.

As far as optics are concerned, the Redmi Note 7 comes loaded with a dual rear camera configuration with the primary sensor rated at 12MP with an F/2.2 aperture and the secondary sensor being rated at 2MP. For selfies, the Redmi Note 7 uses a 13MP sensor that’s AI-enabled. The front-facing camera features a variety of modes such as AI Portrait mode, AI Beautify, Face recognition and support for HDR. Apart from this, it also has AI scene recognition for up to 12 scenes.

Lastly, the Redmi Note 7 features a 4000mAh battery that features support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.
