The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is one of the best if not the best handset in the world right now. It checks all the right boxes when it comes to design, display and cameras. The battery on the Galaxy Note 10+ is improved upon as well and it comes with a 45W fast charging support; however, in comparison to this next bit of information, the charging speed of the Note 10 will be pitifully slow in comparison.

As per a tip from Evan Blass of @evleaks, Samsung is believed to be working on ways to replace the lithium-ion batteries on its smartphones. The solution for this will be graphene batteries. And with the batteries that are made of graphene will see smartphones charge go from 0 to 100 per cent in under 30 minutes and this could arrive on at least one handset by 2020 or latest by 2021.

While such insane technology is usually reserved for high-end smartphones like the company’s Galaxy S or Galaxy Note lineup; however, Samsung traditionally experiments with cutting-edge technology on lower-end smartphones before introducing it on higher-end variants. We expect the trend to continue with the graphene batteries.

As per a related report by Forbes, “Blass states Samsung is still working on raising capacities and lowering costs and the release could slip into 2021. That said, few flagship owners upgrade annually or even every two years these days, so the question is whether you can wait or potentially spend several years watching enviously from the sidelines.”

The reasons for skipping the Note 10 range are gradually piling up. Information regarding the S11 smartphones is gathering pace and it is believed that the 2020 smartphone will come with an upgraded design, new RAM, and the class-leading performance due to its Snapdragon 865 SoC.
