Comio’s next budget smartphone leaked with 13MP rear camera

The budget smartphone segment is full of interesting options, both from established players as well as new entrants from China. Comio, a relatively new player in the segment, has been aggressive with new launches, offering compelling specifications and features at affordable prices. However, despite having an expansive portfolio of smartphones, Comio is coming up with another budget smartphone.

According to leaked information obtained by Deccan Chronicle, Comio is coming up with a brand new budget smartphone offering with competitive specifications. The rumoured device is expected to sport a 5.5-inch 18:9 display. The phone will be powered by Android Oreo out-of-the-box. It is also expected to offer a 13MP rear camera. Comio will also be baking in support for Face Unlock. Our source has confirmed that the smartphone will be launched in the fourth week of July.

No other information related to the device has been leaked as of now, apart from a confirmed Red colour variant. As per our speculations, the device could sit in the price bracket of Rs 6,000-Rs 7,000 and compete with the likes of Xiaomi’s Redmi 5A, Samsung J2 and Moto C.
