Honor 10 Lite with 24MP selfie camera launched at a competitive price
Honor’s first offering for the new year boasts a 6.2-inch display with a dewdrop notch and a 24MP AI powered selfie cam.
Huawei-owned Honor has launched the 10 Lite in India and will be available as a Flipkart exclusive. The stunning Honor 10 Lite comes with a starting price of Rs 13,999 in India and we had a chance to review it and we were left quite impressed. The handset comes with some interesting specifications namely a 6.21-inch IPS LCD full HD display, AI-assisted cameras as well as being powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC.
The Honor 10 Lite sports a plastic back that resembles glass due to its 8-layering process. The gradient designed rear comes in three colour variants — Sky Blue, Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black. It also comes bearing AI-assisted cameras with an intelligent scene detection feature that can recognize up to 22 different scenes. It also boasts AI-enabled selfie features for the 25MP front-facing camera.
The Honor 10 Lite features a dewdrop notched 6.21-inch Full HD+ display sporting a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The handset features a HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC that’s based on a 12nm process and clocked at 1.7GHz. It is assisted by an ARM Mali G51 MP4 GPU. The Honor 10 Lite will be available in two configurations — 4GB/6G alongside 64GB of onboard storage. The storage can be further expanded upon up to 512GB more by way of a microSD card.
The Honor 10 Lite features the EMUI 9 skin on top of Android 9.0 out of the box. As far as optics go, the 10 Lite boasts a 13MP primary camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, alongside a secondary 2-megapixel camera. The front-facing 24MP camera features an F/2.0 aperture. The handset remains juiced up by a 3400mAh battery.
Important features of the Honor 10 Lite also include a rear fingerprint scanner, support for face unlock, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), GPS + GLONASS, micro USB support and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Honor 10 Lite 4GB variant is priced at Rs 13,999 while the top-end 6GB variant costs Rs 17,999, The Handset goes on sale on 20th January as a Flipkart exclusive and its also available on Honor’s official portal, hihonor.in.
