PUBG MOBILE is presently the reigning champion of the battle royale games, despite Epic Games’ Fortnite making a debut on Android. The game was recently reported to cross the 100 million mark, making it one of the most downloaded games in the recent times. Tencent is now coming up with an update that will enhance the gameplay.

In a notification to all users, Tencent has announced that they will be bringing the Sanhok v0.8.0 update from the console version of the game to mobile. The update will add the Sanhok map to the game along with new weapons, vehicles, clothes and much more. Tencent will be preparing the servers on 11th September and rolling out the Sanhok update to all users on iOS and Android by 12th September.

The major addition to the game will be the Sanhok map, which is essentially a fictional take on a tropical island. The map is smaller when compared to the existing Erangel and Miramar maps. The developer claims that gameplay will be more intense as the smaller map would result in fast-paced and more intense fighting. The map will also feature a bulletproof UAZ, which can be called for with a new flare gun while outside the battle zone. However, while inside the battle zone, the flare gun can request airdrops. There’s also a muscle car that can seat up to four people.

Users can now also customise the amount of loot they can pick up with them. The developer is also including new anti-cheat measures and ‘report’ buttons for a fair gameplay experience.
