Camon i4, with its triple camera, dot notch screen and ‘rocket’ charging, is the device that is challenging the biggies. The device comes with a 13 MP + 2 MP + 8 MP camera, with an in-built ‘night algorithm’ for better low-light shots. The 13 MP primary lens is supported by an 8 MP wide angle lens and a 2 MP depth sensor. With features like AR mode for face stickers and AI-enabled scene detection, the Camon i4 features a 16 MP selfie camera with AI Beauty mode. This time around, Tecno features a 6-level beautification mode and scans 228 facial points. The beauty mode does interesting things like extending your eyeliner, improve eye pupil shine, and brighten skin tone. Most of these features, are usually found only in more expensive flagship devices.

Powered by a 3,500 mAh battery, the Camon i4 comes with rocket charge that promises two hours of calling time from 10 minutes of charging. The 2 GB + 32 GB variant is priced at Rs 9,599 while the 3 GB + 32 GB variant is available for Rs 11,999. We were impressed with the minimalistic design and good hand feel, in spite of having three camera lenses at the back. The dot notch is non-intrusive, but adds to the design element, making it a good bargain.
