OnePlus' flagship offering OnePlus 6 has gained a lot of momentum, and it is one of a most popular performance-oriented smartphone. While the Chinese smartphone maker is gearing up to launch its latest OnePlus 6T, the older OnePlus 6 is all set to receive a temporary price cut.

For those who are unaware, Amazon India has announced its 'Great Indian Festival,' which will be hosted from October 10, starting at 12 AM, and it will end on October 15. During the five-day sale, one can buy the OnePlus 6 for Rs 5,000 less than the original price. Currently, the standard variant of the OnePlus 6 comes with a price label of Rs 34,999.

As for the specifications, the smartphone embraces a 6.28-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is built around a Snapdragon 845 chipset and runs on OxygenOS 9.0 with Android 9 Pie. The OnePlus 6 is available in three colours including Midnight Black, Mirror Black and Silk White with different storage variants. It comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage.

On the imaging duties, the handset features a combination of 16MP and 20MP rear camera setup and a 16MP front shooter for selfies. The smartphone is powered by a 3300mAh battery.

Besides, if rumours are to believed, the company would launch the OnePlus 6T on October 17. As of now, there’s no word from OnePlus yet. However, the company has confirmed that the device would feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. Speculations are rife that the smartphone would feature a waterdrop-style notch, offer a Snapdragon 845 SoC, dual rear cameras and a bigger battery.
