Lava unveils Z91 with face recognition feature

LAVA has launched its latest budget smartphone – LAVA Z91 with Face recognition – claims to unlock the phone within 0.7 seconds.

Z91 features a 5.7-inch HD+ widescreen display in 18:9 resolution (720 x 1440 pixels), and comes in 2.5D curved design. It renders a thin build with 7.7 mm thickness. Lava Z91 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and has an aperture of f/2.0 and an 8MP front camera. The device is powered by MediaTek (MTK 6739) processor and comes with a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and has an expandable memory up to 128 GB. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery and claims to have a battery backup of up to 24 hours, through a single charge.

The smartphone comes with Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. It supports Bluetooth 4.0 and dual-SIM connectivity. Lava Z91 is priced at Rs 9,999 and comes with a two-year warranty and one-time free screen replacement offer. Moreover, Airtel is also offering Rs 2,000 cashback on the purchase of Lava Z91.
