After several rumours and leaks, Huawei-owned Honor has finally launched Note 10 in China. The key features of the smartphone are its massive display, large battery, powerful chipset and GPU Turbo technology.

The Note 10 flaunts a 6.9-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. At its core, the device runs on a HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset that supports GPU Turbo aided by 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. Furthermore, the chipset uses a liquid cooling solution, which the company calls it 'The Nine' to ensure the device doesn’t overheat and offers 8-layer heat dissipation, with a promise of up to 10 degrees reduction in CPU temperature. There is also support for GPU Turbo Tech, CPU Turbo, and Double Turbo mode that promises the best performance and also a dedicated hardware button to launch these modes. The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on top. The smartphone is kept alive by a 5000mAh battery.

On the photography front, the smartphone features a 24MP+16MP dual rear camera setup along with AIS (Artificial Image Stabilisation) and an LED flash module. Both sensors are equipped with a f/1.8 aperture. For selfies, there is a 13MP sensor along with AI modes. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a face unlock feature too.

The new phablet has been launched in three variants — the base variant with 6GB RAM/64GB storage costs RMB 2,799 (approx Rs 28,100), with 6GB/128GB configuration is priced at RMB 3,199 (approx Rs 32,100), and the top variant with 8GB/128GB configuration costs RMB 3,599 (approx Rs 36,100).
