Truecaller’s new update for ios 11 will filter out junk SMS from iMessage

Truecaller has announced the addition of a new spam filtering feature for its iOS app, which will filter out SMS and MMS spam from iMessage and send them directly to a junk tab.

On a weekly basis approximately 82 million spam texts or SMS are received by Indian users, out of which 24 million are automatically blocked.

Along with recent releases such as Flash Messaging and Google Duo powered video calling, this is another list of new features within the Truecaller app, which makes it a communications platform with a smart dialer, caller ID, and spam blocking service.
