Wagr is India’s first GPS & fitness dog tracker.
If you can wear a smart wearable, why not your dog? After one of them lost his dog, three young graduates -- IIT alumnus Advaith Mohan, Siddharth Darbha from IIITDM and Ajith Kochery from TU-Munich -- joined to raise money on the crowd-funding platform FuelADream, to realise their own dream: a device that ensures owners can never lose their pets. After 3 years of R&D, the trio created a dog wearable, weighing just 27 grams, which tracks the animal in real-time using GPS and an embedded SIM.
Owners can create safe zones for their dogs to roam, monitor activity trends, let friends safely walk their dogs, manage multiple dogs -- and keep tabs on their well being.
After trying the prototype with 100 dog owners, the founders are now taking orders for the product at Rs 4499 at www.wagr.in
