The addendum, a playlist creation, now makes coming together on this platform all the more interesting.

Haven’t you tried the messenger bot on Spotify yet? More has come to the music/video streaming service’s new discovery which arrived early this year. The addendum, a playlist creation, now makes coming together on this platform all the more interesting. Termed ‘Group Playlists for Messenger’, this can be seen by tapping the blue plus sign on the right of the input box, from where it leads to selecting the Spotify Messenger extension.

If the bot made sharing of song clips easy, the playlist makes each person in the group chat add their selection of songs into it. An existing Spotify user can click on the ‘create’ button, assign the playlist a title and send to a group chat session.

What has non-users to do? Techcrunch has the answer. “Non-users can only preview the playlist in Messenger -- to listen, they’ll need to sign up and download Spotify’s app.”
