iOS 11 has been announced with a  lot of new features. However, the new software also comes with its own set of bugs and iOS 11 is no exception. A report from The Telegraph has unearthed a new bug with the Snapchat app that doesn’t notify others if you take a screenshot, thus creating major privacy breach issues.

Some users on Twitter along with The Telegraphs’ tests have reported that they are not getting notifications if someone using Snapchat on iOS 11 is getting a screenshot of their posts. Even the new screen recording mode on iOS 11 is failing to notify the others of screenshots taken from their posts.

Now, this may be an error on Snapchat’s end and they are surely working on it to fix the issue. However, until the problem is solved, this bug poses a major privacy issue for Snapchat users. The only way to stay safe of this issue is to prevent your friends from getting their iPhones updates to iOS 11 so as to prevent them from making funny memes.
