Search engine giant Google has added a Q&A feature to results in Maps and search to help users get better answers related to searched places. Through the feature, Google is allowing users to ask or answer a question—or read the existing questions and answers about a place—simply search for the location on Google Maps or Search and open the local business listing.

Users will also be allowed to up-vote informative questions by tapping the thumbs up icon. The up-voted ones will eventually be pulled up towards the top section for more accessible results.

Additionally, Google is giving business owners an opportunity to add frequently asked questions and answers as well. “When you ask a question about a place, we notify the business owner and other in-the-know users to see if they have knowledgeable answers to contribute. When your question is answered, we notify you too,” Google wrote in a blogpost.
