Robotics and Future Factory go hand in hand in today’s world. To make consumers aware of the advances in robotics and future industries, Smart Industry Solutions India(SIS), an eclectic mix of robotic and future technologies will be showcased for a wide spectrum of industries including automotive, oil and gas, chemicals, f&b processing, pharma, packaging, machine tools, etc. For inaugural the edition in Mumbai to be held from 13-15 Dec 2017, SIS has confirmed a line-up of automation experts in Future Factory like Siemens, BCIL, Pepperl n Fuchs and many more. Bosch, Oracle and Cisco are also on the advisory board of this exhibition on future factories and will be bringing their latest advancements to the fair.

SIS India will be showcasing a wide range of Made to Measure, i.e customised automation solutions for SME’s in India. This will address the needs for automation and high-tech manufacturing, which will be a boon to increase productivity in India. Following the Make in India idea, international companies will be coming up with India specific technology and modern automation ideas. SIS will also be promoting the use of robotics in the day to day lives in India. The use of robotics has been steadily growing with more and more manufacturers, doctors, engineers, etc are taking the help of robots to create more sustainable life. Robots have also been playing integral roles in some day to day activities like River Cleaning, Construction, car manufacturing, Defence, etc. Indian markets are competing globally for automation is need of the time. As per the current scenario, manufacturing the required components within the country rather than importing them will drastically bring down the costs and promote the whole ‘Make in India’ ideology.

SIS is actively promoting Make in India and Digital India initiative to lead a movement on Indian innovation and technology advancements. Implementation of Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) in the Indian manufacturing industry could emerge as the game changer for Indian manufacturing. Advancements in Automation and Robotics will help Indian manufacturers to improve their productivity and quality manifold. This will help to achieve the ambitious target of making manufacturing contribute 25 per cent of GDP and create 100 million jobs by 2022.
