Not able to log into Facebook, Instagram? You're not alone

Users of social media apps Facebook and Instagram have been experiencing an outage in some parts of the world. People are facing issues while logging into their accoutns and also while uploading pictures or updating their status.

The systems apparently went down just before 10:00AM ET, with users across the US, Europe, South America,and Asia being affected. There if no official statement from Facebook yet.

Both the apps belong to Facebook so a simultaneous outage maybe an issue in their servers. The outage isn’t the first time this has happened. Facebook also experienced a similar outage in March and then in April. There was also one just last month in July.
