The Asus Zenfone 3 will charm you with its premium design

The recently launched Asus Zenfone 3 is a stylish and chic looking device. Compared to its predecessors, Asus has ditched the rugged looking plastic body for a premium glass body. The tempered 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass for rear and front gives the device a smooth texture. Weighing 155 grams with 6.16mm metal frame, this smart phone is sleek and lightweight. It sports a 5.5-inch display with 1920x1080 Full HD resolution.

It’s not just about good looks, the Zenfone 3 also offers a few interesting specs. The 16 megapixel primary camera comes with PixelMaster 3.0, Sony IMX298 sensor, six-element Largan lens, optical and electronic image stabilisation. The pictures were sharp and bright, even during low light photography. The front camera of 8 megapixels also did an impressive job with the selfies. It also comes with 4K video recording.

The Zenfone 3 runs on AsusZenUI 3.0, which is based on the Android 6.0. It is powered by 2.0 Ghz, Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with 4 GB RAM. The internal storage of 64 GB is expandable up to 2 TB via MicroSD card. But the catch here is the hybrid slots, which means you can either accommodate two SIM cards or one SIM and a memory card. But we feel that 64 GB is good enough to store most apps. Keeping up with the current trend, the Zenfone 3 features the latest Type C USB port, along with a 3.5mm audio jack. The 4G device packs a decent life with 3000 mAh non-removable battery. The Asus Zenfone 3 is priced at Rs 21,999. If you aren’t too tight on budget and looking for a smart phone that is visually appealing as well as a decent performer, this might be a good choice.
