Under Armour and The Rock tag team to launch rugged headphones

The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson has achieved quite a lot in his storied career. From being one of the most popular and successful wrestlers for the WWE he has successfully transitioned into an actor which is no small feat. Now, The Rock has teamed up with Under Armour to launch his own pair of rugged headphones called the UA Sport Wireless Project Rock Edition. Project Rock is his apparel brand.

The Sport Wireless is a pair of Bluetooth headphones that come with an IPX4 certification and have been designed to be worn in the gym. This means that they have been built to be rugged so they can take a few knocks and offer some form of sweat resistance. The UA SuperVent ear cushions deliver breathability in a light, durable, fast-drying fabric that is removable and hand washable. Under Armour claims that the grip material lines the inner headband and ear cushions, providing a soft feel and maximum stability.

The audio of these headphones are made by JBL and they are said to offer rich bass. These headphones come with a 16-hour battery life on a full charge and it supports quick charge where a 5-minute charge can give a user one hour of playback.

The UA Sports Wireless — Project Rock Edition will go on sale on 15 September 2018 and will cost USD 249.95 which is about Rs 17,107.
