3 Mi band 4 features you didn’t know about

The Mi Band 4 is perhaps the best budget fitness tracker available in India right now. With the colour AMOLED screen, six axis sensor and tons of available customisation, the Mi Band 4 is a clear winner in the below 5k wearables category.

While most of the features of the Mi Band 4 are talked about, here are 4 features of the Mi Band 4 you probably did not know about.

1. Custom Wallpaper watchface

The Mi Band 4 has a lot of custom watch faces to choose from in the Mi Fit app. There are countless more on third-party apps available on the play store. But if all those faces are not enough for you, or if you just want to set a particular wallpaper on the band and maybe match it with your phone, you can do that too.

Head over to Profile > Mi Smart Band 4 > Band Display Settings > Custom. You’ll see three faces here. Choose any one with the clock layout you want and in the subsequent page, choose ‘Change Background’. Now you can pretty much choose any Wallpaper from your phone and set it on the face of your Mi Band 4.

2. ‘Nudge’ your friends

Just like a social media app, you can add your other Mi Band 4 buddies as ‘friends ’ and share your fitness goals and progress with them, and vice versa. You can also ‘Ping’ your friends as a nudge and pop a heart on their band, just for fun. And this feature also works with Mi Band 3 users.

Head over to the Mi Fit app and go to the 'Friends' tab to setup your Mi Band friends.

3. Notification Filtering

Yes, the Mi Band 4 has notification support, but what you probably did not know is you can actually fine tune the settings to get notifications only from the apps you want, and not be spammed by too many notifications.

Head over to the Mi Fit app and go to Profile > Mi Smart Band 4 > App alerts to customise your app notifications.
