Microsoft at its special ‘Microsoft Event’ held in Shanghai took the wraps off its new Surface Pro 2-in-1 laptop. Described as the company, “most versatile laptop,” the device is up for pre-order at a starting price of $799 (approx Rs 52,000). The shipping will begin on June 15 and Microsoft says it will be available in 25 countries.

The new Surface Pro packs a 12.3-inch Pixel-Sense display with added support of up to 165-degree hinge, making it possible for users to nearly lay it flat. The device, which runs on Windows 10, also comes with an optional 4G LTE connectivity support.
