Huami rolls out Alexa support for its Amazfit verge smartwatch

Technology brand Huami Corporation, rolled out an update to its Amazfit Verge smartwatch, introducing Amazon Alexa voice assistant integration, yesterday. 

In a press release, the corporation described that this shall now allow Indian users to speak into the Verge to hear a flash briefing, weather forecast, sports updates, and more, directly on the wrist. The company also announced that iOS users can make and receive phone calls on the device.

Elaborating further, the manufacturer mentioned some more things that users could do through the new feature like setting a reminder or wake-up alarm, managing schedule and to-do list, get answers to common questions via Alexa.

Available in Twilight Blue, Shadow Grey, and Moonlight White, the watch retails on e-commerce website Amazon for Rs 10,999.
